UNRACED 2 YEAR OLD

The duration of this syndication will be for two seasons; this will allow enough time with the horse to fulfil its potential. Very important, unlike other syndications during this period your horse cannot be sold without your prior consent.

The amount you pay is a fixed fee for the duration of the initial contract and includes the purchase of the horse, all training fees and entitles you to two owners' badges each time your horse runs. Payment can be monthly or in a lump sum, any lump sum payment would attract a discount.

Before the end of its second season you will need to decide on its future. The decision will be yours, the owners, and not the stables, although we will be happy to give you advice.

If the decision is to retain the horse then new fees will be payable which will be for a year, this can be paid in advance or on a monthly basis. The amount of the continuation fee will be made available to you before you make your decision.

If the decision is to sell the horse then it will go to the next available bloodstock sale and you will then receive your share of the sale proceeds once sold. Any prize money will be distributed at the end of the initial period.

"Your monthly payment cannot be increased and covers the cost of the horse, all training, gallops, equine swimming, jockey, race entry, transport, farrier and veterinary fees.  There are no hidden extras.  Any lump sum payments would attract a significant discount".

OLDER HORSE

Occasionally we will have an older horse available for syndication. The intention is to hopefully improve or rekindle a previously successful horse. The horse may well run in selling and claiming races to improve the chances of winning races and hopefully give the syndicate betting opportunities. It is difficult, however, to predict the length of time you will have with the horse as it could well be claimed. If this happens and the syndicate is happy to continue we will purchase another horse on their behalf with the sale proceeds. The purpose of purchasing such horses is to allow syndicate members instant racing action and to have some fun with minimum cost. The only other difference to the yearling syndication is the need to find an amount upfront for the purchase of the horse before making a monthly all inclusive training payment.

WHICH IS THE BEST OPTION?

If you like the excitement and speculation of an unraced horse that could be a future star and would like to follow its progress from the "breaking-in" stage to the racecourse, then the yearling syndication is for you. Also, if you just want a straight forward monthly payment without the need to find a capital sum upfront then again the yearling syndication is for you.

If you are looking for racecourse action immediately and you are not concerned about having the chance to name your horse and watching its development from the yearling stage then the older horse syndication is for you. However, you will need to find a capital sum to purchase the horse.
