Wednesday 5th September

Tidal Fury ran well yesterday at Auteuil and has arrived home safe. It was a very encouraging run and we hope to take him and his owners, the Twelfth Night Syndicate (pictured below with jockey Dean Gallagher) back over to France in the next few weeks.

Maximus Aurelius is working well ahead of his trip to Warwick on Thursday and Carlton Scroop will have the assistance of Jamie Spencer on Friday evening at Kempton.

Sunday 2nd August

A racing yard is as only as good as its staff and I like to think we have one of the strongest teams in Newmarket. As a way of saying thanks for all their hard work we took the lads down to see Arsenal v Portsmouth today. Highlight of the day was meeting co-owner of Pie-O-My, Portsmouth Manager Harry Rednapp (pictured below with Brendan, Martin and Paul) and the team at their hotel in Kensington before the match.

Saturday 1st September

Many thanks to our friends at Betfred who kindly allowed us to share their private box at Sandown yesterday. Good company and good racing made for an excellent afternoon.

Scott and Carlton Scroop (pictured below) are almost ready to run and did a very strong piece of work together. There ae very closely matched and have proved to be the ideal work partners. Tidal Fury has been declared to run at Auteuil on Tuesday in what looks to be a fairly hot conditions race. He is in very good form at home and loves his trips to France.

Friday 24th August

National Hunt jockey James Davies can in this morning to school Carlton Scroop (pictured below), The Bonus King, Tidal Fury and Orchard House. Apprentice jockey (and this years Northumberland Plate winning jockey) Luke Morris came in and rode Crimson Mitre in a piece of work with Graylyn Ruby and Maximus Aurelius earlier in the week.

Saturday 11th August

We are starting to get busy with runners over the next week. Tidal Fury and Maximus Aurelius head to Windsor on Monday night. Dane O'Neill takes the ride on both. The Bonus King did a strong piece of work today in preparation for his race on Thursday at Folkestone.

Saturday 4th August

Today saw the final pieces of work for a number of horses that will be racing very soon. We took Maximus Aurelius and Tidal Fury for a very strong piece of work on the Limekilns and both horses performed very well. Both now head to Windsor on 13th August for maiden races.

Saleem Golam came in to work Tavares on the Cambridge Road Polytrack ahead of his race on Thursday at Haydock. Graylyn Ruby runs first time out at Kempton Park on Wednesday evening.
